Duet Electric Dryer - Complaint
BRASELTON, GEORGIA -- I purchased a pair of Duet Washer and Dryer a year ago. The first dryer that was delivered was factory defect, confirmed by the technician that was sent by the store. The store delivered another dyer in a couple of days, and after a year, the heat element has gone out and now it is not working. I have been trying to resolve this situation with Whirlpool for over a week, and each time I speak with the customer rep, they all say the different thing. I am told that the heat element is back ordered until over a month! It's Summer and I have kids, this is absolutely not acceptable. They are arrogant, telling me they cannot even give me the tracking number until it is delivered. DUH! What is the tracking # for???? They even admitted that some system shows that it is available, some system shows it's back ordered, some system shows it was shipped, some system shows it is NOT available, and they don't know when they can get it in.
ARE THEY SERIOUS? IS THIS REALLY WHIRLPOOL? I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER SINGLE ITEM FORM WHIRLPOOL!
Anything mechanical will have issues time to time, we need a company that has excellent customer care, to handle it expeditiously and intelligently. Whirlpool is making the total fool out of themselves.
