Mariott Skymall Complaint - Cusomer Service at Skymall/Marriott and Nikon

MANALAPAN, NEW JERSEY -- I came across of one post here about an awful experience with Nikon and Marriott rewards.

I'm in the similar situation now. Here is what's happening.

I've ordered my Nikon D80 with a lens through Marriott rewards on 05/25. I know it will take 2-3 weeks for delivery, but sometimes it is just a BS. I really don't want to wait that time to get a message that they don't have it or it is on the back order.

I have waited 7 business days to receive some kind of communication from either NIKON or Marriott on my order, but did not.

On 06/03 I have called Marriott/Skymall, and they opened a case, to contact Nikon on the status. Still today no response from NIKON. I spoke to a supervisor at Skymall/Marriott, and she was like a robot - "we understand, however...".

I have to wait 3 full weeks, and if I don't receive a camera, then I have to call them.

What a louse service at Marriott/Skymall and lack of response from NIKON!!

While 2-3 weeks delivery time 'is sometiimes BS' also implies that 2-3 weeks delivery time is 'sometimes NOT BS'. Sometimes 2-3 weeks is what it takes. I understand your concern that the item is not in stock. I also understand that it is not helpful to ask if an item is in stock before ordering...you will almost always be told it is in stock, even if it is not. And, 2-3 weeks equals 10-15 business days (14-21 total days). It has been 12 total days. Be patient.
