Ashley Furniture Complaint - Worst Customer Service Ever!!
After searching for months for the perfect bedroom suite, we found one we loved at Ashley's. We spent a long time in the store asking questions to the guy who was helping us. He seemed very professional and helpful, and answered even our toughest questions really well. We left with the impression that we were going to get great furniture, and great customer service if we needed it.
Well, when the furniture arrived, it was beautiful, aside from a minor scratch on the dresser and a few cracks in the mirror! We had two technicians come to look at it. Their idea of fixing the scratch was to dye it, And they didn't even dye it the proper color. After I pointed that out, they found the right color. It still didn't look right, but it looked better. They ordered me a new mirror.
After they left, I took a closer look at the dresser and realized that upon putting their tools on top of the dresser, they had actually made another scratch, and this one was really noticeable.
I called them back on three separate occasions before I actually got help. Again, someone was scheduled to come look at the furniture. When that day came - NO ONE SHOWED UP!
So I made one more attempt, reached someone, and a couple weeks later, they came to take the dresser and have it fixed in the shop. When the dresser came back, it was fixed - sort of. I decided that I would just get a table runner to hide the scratch and prevent further damage.
As if that wasn't enough, I discovered finger prints on the side of the dresser and they DON'T wash off - they are dyed on!
Oh and lastly, when the new mirror came, it had REDRUM written on it. AND they left garbage all over my yard and street.
I will never EVER buy another piece of furniture, big or small from Ashley's. I hope everyone who is even considering it thinks again
