Sears Complaint - Paying Credit Card Bill
It starts out over a Year and Half a go. I was moving and I knew I needed to pay my Sears Card. I went to SEARS to Pay my bill. Not sure how much I had left on my card off. Because most of my things were in boxes I went to Sears to pay off my card. The lady couldn't tell me how much I needed to pay off the bill. So, I thought it was around 200. I pay 200. I gave her my new address and phone number. I thought it was payed off.
Last October, 10 or eleven months later, I receive a phone call from a collector at my parents house. He says I now have a bill of $ 950.00. I never payed any bills so that is what I owe. I never received a bill and Sears will not receive any of my calls. I never received a bill forwarded to my new house from my old place. I have received bank statements and other bills, just none from SEARS. I thought maybe someone had taken my bills for information theft. Why only SEARS? I tried to get help, but I only get a lady from India that gets mad at me for not understanding her.
No one in the company has tried to help and offered any place for help. I have been calling and FAXING for information. One time I received a response that they would look into it, but nothing else in the mail. The high interest rates and fees are extreme. The company doesn't want to help out with the confusion. I would give this company a zero rating. There are cheaper places to shop. I would go else where to do your business. Why support a company that is going to screw you?
