Wendy's Bridal Informative - Bad Service!!!
CINCINNATI, OHIO -- Once my fiancee and I had set our date, my mom and I decided we should get my dress early so that we could enjoy the last months of my engagement, instead of running around frantically. I went to the Wendy's Bridal in Kenwood, since I had met a rep at a bridal show just two days before. I made my appointment, and since I was in a hurry after work, I just went up in my scrubs (I'm a nurse.) My mom and I walked in the store, and since everyone was busy, we decided to just look at the dresses to get an idea of what styles I was looking for. We were going through the racks, and suddenly a saleswoman stopped in the aisle, blocking our path, and said "sorry ladies, but if you need help you should have made an appointment." I was a little taken aback, but I assured her I had an appointment and that we were just looking around since everyone was busy. She turned and walked away halfway through my sentence without saying another word. My mom and I looked at each other, really surprised.
At this point, it was an hour and fifteen minutes after I was due for my appointment! We continued looking, but after that, I was seething. Another half hour later, I decided to cancel my appointment since it was obvious we couldn't get service. We went up to the desk, and we stood there for ANOTHER half hour. The girl in front of us had her credit card out, and the saleslady couldn't take her eyes off of it. The entire time, she never said "I'll be right with you," or acknowledge us in any way. I couldn't believe the lack of professionalism!! So finally, I decided that if they couldn't trouble themselves to even LOOK at us, that I wouldn't get one of their dresses if THEY paid ME!! So we walked out without cancelling my appointment. We went into a competitive bridal store and even without an appointment, we got friendly service. The very same night we purchased my dress, veil, tiara, bra, slip, and shoes.
So if you expect service at Wendy's, better go in at their opening time...just maybe they'll get to you by closing.
