CarFinders Complaint - Auto Detail Damage

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA -- I had my vehicle detailed. I picked it up at the end of their business day. Driving home it began shaking and the 'service engine soon' light came on. I was concerned that I'd even make it home. I took it to a mechanic. I told him I'd had it detailed. He said that could happen if they had gotten the coils wet but it would have to be diagnosed. He diagnosed it as the coils had gotten wet and dried the coils (though he recommended replacing them). I called the detailer and explained my situation. He said to send him the bill and he'd get it to his boss. He said that he knew there was nothing wrong with the car when I brought it to him because he drove it around the building.

He also said this sometimes occurs. He then responds later that his boss will only reimburse me for 1/2 the repair cost. I said this was not acceptable and have tried to contact them repeatedly since and they have not responded.
