Thor/ Four winds Complaint - Will not stand behind warranty

Stay away from any rv and/or camper built by Thor. I puchased my Four Winds less than a year ago and have had it in the shop after every trip that we have taken. The first trip was to Orlando and our son sliced his hand open on a screw that attaches the brackets for the fold out couch because they forgot to put the plywood over the hole and that was just the start. The quality is questionable at best and we tried to get Todd Grimms with Four winds to call, but we had to get intouch with him after waiting weeks to here from someone with Thor. Now its in the shop again with the awning brackets rusting and the service department is telling me that Thor won't fix the problem because it's not under warranty, and it less that a year old.

Grab a copy of MotorHome magazine from your newstand and contact their "RV Action Line" folks - they have a pretty good record getting manufacturers to step up and do the right thing. Good luck.
