Ronco Complaint - - Ripoff of $30 Rebate...
WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS -- I purchased, in good faith A Ronco Showtime Rotisserie 12/17/07. There was a $30 rebate on it so I thought - great this is a terrific deal. I sent in the proper paperwork, the rebate, the UPC and the receipt to Ronco Holiday Promo Offer 3842-002, PO Box 753370 El Paso, TX 88575-3370 and waited and waited and waited for my rebate to arrive. When I did not receive it in February or March, I called the toll free number and spoke with one of your Customer Service personnel who said, it takes time - wait a few more weeks and call back. I waited and called back about a month later, at which time, I was told the offer had ended - to bad and when I said I sent the rebate in in good faith and thought it was not fair. The Customer Service person than became rude and hung up on me. I thought what kind of Company did this to its customers.
Let me say, I had wanted a Ronco Rotisserie for years but could not afford it. I finally could and to receive the $30 rebate on top of it was quite a deal.
My parents bought one back in 2000 and love it, they brag about it to friends and have had people purchase one just by them saying what a great product it is. They were shocked when I told them how I had been treated when inquiring about my rebate.
I have sent Ronco Customer Service emails that promise a response within 24-48 hours, it's been weeks to no avail. I call the constantly busy customer service number to no avail.
What a ripoff !!!!!!!!!! Ron Popiel should be ashamed!!!!!!!!!!!!
