Hilton Hotels Complaint - Hilton Doesn't Care About Their Guests Privacy, Well-being Or Safety!!!!!
WICHITA, KANSAS -- While staying at the Hilton Homewood Suites in Wichita, KS., a person approached the front desk requesting personal information on me. This person was neither an agent of the court, law enforcement, etc., they were simply a person off the street.
The clerk then proceeded to provide them with my name, address, status as a Hilton frequent stayer, my employers name, the airline I use regularly, etc. - basically every piece of information that they have ever collected on me was given without my permission or without regard to who was requesting it. This person then used this information to create artificial charges against me in an attempt to extort money.
When I learned of this via the Wichita Police, I contacted both the hotel GM and Hilton Corporate. I was told they would look into things and get back to me. The next day, I received a call that they had been advised by their legal staff not to speak with or address me any further.
I have been trying for nearly a year to get some sort of resolution on this matter, but they refuse to even return phone calls, emails, etc. Unfortunately, it is next to impossible to get a lawyer to handle this, so Hilton walks away scot free.
If you value your privacy and your freedom, I strongly recommend that you avoid both this hotel as well as Hilton in general. It is obvious that they hold no regard for a persons safety and well-being. The general manager is useless and the staff uncaring.
