Baymont Complaint - Hotel Tries To Ruin Six Flags Texas Trip

Review by Cpt.Kirk on 2008-06-18
ARLINGTON, TEXAS -- We got in late Saturday, and we found the alarm clock. phone network cord all disconnected. Got everything plugged back in, asked for wakeup call. Also set the alarm clock because we needed to get up by 8AM. The phone didn’t ring or have dial tone, and the damn alarm didn’t work either. As a result we missed breakfast, we didn’t get to Six Flags early enough to miss the big lines. In sum, I’m ticked. We stayed there to get breakfast and instead have to buy overpriced 6 flags food, we got our tickets on line so we could zip to the front of the line in the park, and instead we get caught in the mob. Lack of basic maintenance really left a bad taste in my mouth about your hotel and the chain.

I guess I’m really mad that I paid full price for a less than adequate room and still had to pay $30 for food at 6 flags that I had already paid for at the hotel, if their alarm clocks or phones worked.

There's zillions of places to eat around there and there's no avoiding lines at Six Flags. It's too bad that the wake up thing didn't work, but you were only late for a day of amusement. Hope you still had fun.

Strange, the phone did work to call for the wake up call, but went sometime overnight?

You know, you can buy little travel alarm clocks to take with you. They're pretty cheap. Just sayin'.

Your cell phone has an alarm in it, at least most of them do now.

every cell phone has an alarm as well.

if you cannot wake up by 8am on your own, poor thing.
