Wal-Mart Informative - Check Out Lines Closing On Me After I Stand There Waiting For 10 Minutes, And With No Notice
RUSTON, LOUISIANA -- Wal-Mart seems to be the worst in closing counters with 2-4 people waiting. They won't even put up a sign or tell you as they are waiting on the one in front of you when you may have a chance to catch another line without another 10-20 wait. The Wal-Mart in Ruston, LA did such to me today. I waited (on a couple who were in the 20 items or less line, with 37 items.) and when she got through checking them and giving the change, she looked at me and said that she was now on break.
Even if I had accepted that bull, I still would have had to wait at the end of another long line. Wal-Mart, all over the country, is guilty of this infraction. No line, ever in a super center, should ever be closed for even a moment. Another checker should be off his/her break and ready to relieve the other. I was so mad...I was on a real lunch break and had to drive 10 minutes back to my job. Plus, it was medication( topical) that I had to have.
It put me in a serious bind. Nonetheless, my need or not, like I said,no line should ever have to be shut down, especially during lunch or after work hours. This is not the only store in town. Wal-Mart should remember that, and have to know that complaints like this have been repeated and written about for quite a while now.
