Verizon Complaint - Rebate Is A Scam! Beware
I wanted to switch to Verizon bundle for ease of billing. I spoke to a representative who explained how much each item would be, such as adding DVR, Movie channels etc. She totaled what my bill would be each month and I agreed it was a great deal. She said I qualified for the $200.00 Best Buy card or 19" HD TV. I waited and called and called and waited, until finally after 4 months a rep took the time to research why I hadn't received my rebate. Shortly after that I received a snide letter that told me I did not qualify for the rebate, but in good interest they would honor it. So I went online and chose the item I wanted.
Again, 2 months after that I have not received a whisper. Their customer service is only 8-5, so unless you are allowed personal calls at work that take over an hour a piece, you are screwed. Going with Verizon?
DON'T DO IT !!!! They lie and cheat you. And yet, my bill has been over 100.00 more a month than I was quoted. Note to all, record all your phone calls when making these deals.
