Priceline.com Complaint - Priceline.com Has The Worst Service Ever!
Resolution Update on 01/28/2009:
I was refunded after sending an email to the executive email addresses that I received from My3cents.com. I was refunded a while ago and should have updated this a little sooner; nevertheless, the issue was resolved.
ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- Long story short-entered the wrong date for hotel stay in New York-contacted Priceline who said, we will charge you the full amount of the hotel unless you resubmit your bid. I tried resubmitting the bid and got a message indicating "duplicate request" called back to Priceline and was told to wait 24 hours to resubmit. I explained I would be away traveling for the next 8 days and wasn't certain about pc access, asked to speak w/ a manager and was told "managers don't speak on the phone". I asked was there a way to be cleared to resubmit request and spent over 2 hours on phone with primarily the most rude and unhelpful individuals I have ever encountered-transferred me to Marco (hung up on me with no reason) called back and got Tim in Sales (friendly but couldn't help )transferred me to Christina(spent nearly an hour with her, friendly but unhelpful)who transferred me to Brandon in Sales who transferred me back to rude, unhelpful Trisha who hung up on me this time and vowed to try again once I reached my vacation spot in Hawaii the next day. After a 10 hour plane ride to Hawaii and nearly 48 hours later spending more than $20 to gain online access at the hotel in Hawaii, I still rec'd the duplicate request message. Contacted Priceline to inform them that it had been over 24 hours and rec'd Time in Sales again who transferred to me to Ivy and when I asked for a manager Ivy hung up on me. At that point I was done and in tears and wasn't about to ruin my Hawaii vacation spending all of my time on the phone with Priceline.
I did everything they asked and it still didn't work. I am currently disputing their charges and plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau if my money isn't refunded.
