Bd's Mongolian Grill Compliment - Great Food At A Great Price!! I'm Hooked!

DOWNTOWN DENVER, COLORADO -- An old friend of mine had been touting this place for months so today I agreed to give it a try. I mean don't Pot Pies, overcooked Totino's Pizza and FF joints in general get boring after a while to you as well?

I had never been to one of these type of places. You go through like a salad bar but it has all kinds of meats, chicken, seafood, veggies, spices and sauces. I must admit that I was in awe for a moment. Once you fill your bowls with your choices, (I had the NY Strip with sausage, shrimp and veggies) you hand them to the guy at the grill and they cook it right before your eyes. Like I said this was my first time at a place like this so I thought it was pretty cool how they would juggle those giant tongs while preparing my meal and yes, they were close enough to make me flinch a few times when tossing the tongs around.

I am a big fan of spicy food so next time I will know what to get. I played it safe with the "buffalo wing sauce" and it didn't do the trick for me. With all of the Asian type spices and sauces it was obvious that I cheated myself but I guess that is why I will now be a return customer. The service was friendly and fast and you get free refills on your soft drinks. For two people it was under $30.00 with the tip.

Franchises are coming up everywhere. Mostly in the Midwest and the south right

If you have one nearby give them a try.
Trust me!

Wow, zz that's the most money you've ever admitted to spending on one feeding... Sounds delish.. If I stumble upon one of these joints I'll give it a try. (VH).

OMG! I couldn't agree with you more. I recently tried this restaurant because of a fund raiser my son's band was holding. I loved the place, and have visited a couple more times since. It has actually made it to my 'favorites' list. The best bargain is the 'one bowl' price, which is as much food as you can load into the bowl. Trust me, you can heap it in there. Otherwise, the all you can eat price is a bit more expensive, but worth it if you have a hearty appetite. Understandably, drinks can really add some costs onto the bill. It's going to take a while to try all their sauces, but that's my goal, LOL.
