Continental Airlines Complaint - Flight Schedules Are None Existent
Flight schedules on this airlines are just placeholders on the Departure/Arrival monitors.
I recently made a business trip from Syracuse to Houston and back. Every flight at every stop was delayed anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours to being cancelled with no compensation! After spending the night in the airport, I waited until 2:30 in the afternoon to catch the next flight which sent me back to Cleveland to sit for another six hours...being told that the weather in Syracuse was the factor. During the wait, I called a friend in Syracuse who said that the weather was 85 and sunny...and that there had not been a drop of rain all day. The truth was that Continental had no crew for the SIX flights that they had scheduled out of the same gate at the same time!!!
When we did get a crew and got underway, the attendant told us how "lucky" we were to get out because we were "only twenty minutes away from being cancelled". From the conversations that I had with other customers, this was not an unusual occurrence with Continental! I tried to find a way to register a complaint with their company and couldn't find any such link on their site. I understand why! (I did finally do a search and found an email address that I am going to try.)
This was a company-purchased trip; but, if given that opportunity again, I would rather travel on a Greyhound bus than to fly Continental, again!
