Silkies Enriche Complaint - Mail Order Scam - Skin Care Creme

Skin Care Creme - Complaint
Review by Mama Mia on 2008-07-01
RICE LAKE, WISCONSIN -- This company is a scam!! If you send for a sample, in a week or 10 days you will receive another package UNORDERED with an invoice for payment and further orders will be sent. If you try to contact the company it is all automated telephone service and their guarantee states they will pay the postage... with no info on how that is done. Then the customer has to pay or continue to be billed and receive future shipments.

It's not quite a scam. You failed to read the terms before ordering the 'free' sample. Go back to their web pages then click on the sample link. Look carefully to find the terms link. It's very small. Open that link and read it. There you will find clearly stated that ordering the sample places you in a program to ship more products. A new federal law requires that all such 'free sample' programs must have the terms placed prominently on web pages.

This has been going on for years...but if you read the fine print of those "free samples" you will see that you are also agreeing for future purchases. I just sent them a letter and told them I didn't want anymore and they stopped sending them.

You did agree to the auto ship program so you may loose a credit card dispute. Best to just send the stuff back and get your card re-issued as they will just keep re-hitting it every month. People need to stop falling for these "free" scams, very seldom is anything truly free with one of these sleazy operations.
