Alarm One, Inc. Complaint - Extremely Poor Customer Service And Charging For Services Not Rendered
Please beware of Alarm One, Inc. Our family signed a 3 year contract for alarm monitoring service on our home. Our contract was automatically renewed for one year without our consent. We switched phone companies a year ago and not to our knowledge our monitoring was cut off. We were still paying thinking we had service. When the warning light came on on our panel. We called to find out what it meant. We were told that since we switched phone service a year ago our alarm hadn't been working even though the light just came on. The customer service representative was so rude we decide to quit the company and tried to get our money back for the year we were not monitored.
They won't let us cancel now for two months and still want us to pay for the months even though, they know we don't have service. This company is a rip off.
