Netspend / All Access / MetaBank Complaint - Don't Spend Anything With Netspend
6/14/08 Ordered a new card for a secondary cardholder on my account ( they charged me $9.95 and stated I would have the card in 7-10 days.) Today is July 6, and I called Netspend to find out where the card was floating around since I certainly had not received it. When I asked why I had not received my card that was ordered on June 14 the CSR apologized and stated she would order another immediately. I said no I already paid $9.95 for one on 6/14 and I'm not going to pay again when I never received the first one. I had to speak to two supervisors and someone from the credit dept to get my 9.95 refunded. This whole process took more than 1 hour and several recalls on my part because they kept putting me on hold for very long periods of time and then would interrupt me when I was asking a question so as not to stray from their preset script. Im surprised they can even read them considering their spoken English skills are quite lacking.
If you are doing research on this company thinking they might be the way to go for you, think again. They want to charge fees for everything (including their mistakes) and recharge you again and again. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this operation. Its one F*#@ed up racket they are running. I wonder if its even based out of the US?????
