Publishers Clearing House Informative - Sweepstakes Scam and Glue Gue
GREENVIEW SHORES, WASHINGTON -- To Whom It May Concern:
Not long ago I received a letter from Publishers Clearing House telling me that I may already be a winner...etc.I know that's not true and it's a ploy to get people to open the envelope, but that's not my problem.
The problem I have is with the glue on the stamps you're supposed to affix to the paper regarding what magazine subscriptions you would like to purchase. You see, I give these stamps to my 7 and 5 year olds to play with. They like to lick them and stick them on things, like their cedar chest, school notebooks, and unfortunatly the wall in their bedroom.
But it seems the stamp glue has changed over the last few years, and is stronger and more pronouced. The kids both got ill this year, and I had to keep one of them home from school for two days. If you changed the glue ingredients, you should let people know. I know plenty of adults too that lick these stamps to affix to the sheets you provide and I know you don't want your customers getting sick either.
Also, please include more Parenting and Health Magazines. And it also wouldn't hurt to tells us what the winning numbers are. Some of us don't have time to wait till the annoucment comes on tv
