Carnival Cruise Line Complaint - Payment Refund
FLORIDA -- I made a payment over the phone with my credit card to Carnival Cruise Line on May 31, 2008 and was contacted by the Same Rep at ext 84299 on June 30th to inform me that my payment was refunded to me on June 17th I argued the fact that there was no refund on my account but she then began to say if we don't get a payment today then you will loose your initial deposit as a forfeit. I again argued that it's not my fault that the payment was refunded then she began to get rude about it so I went ahead and made ANOTHER payment in hopes that the refund would eventually come thru. 2 weeks later I was informed that the reason the refund didn't reflect on my account was due to the fact that it was credited to another members credit card whom they needed to contact before issuing me MY money.
I find this hilarious that I have to wait until they contact the person so they can charge them back and then issue me my refund. To say the least it's now July 8, 2008 and I have not received my money.
