St. Mary's Hospital Emergency ward Compliment - Service At The Emergency Ward

Review by D on 2008-07-09
SAGINAW, MICHIGAN, MICHIGAN -- I had a episode of light-headedness while eating lunch and the folks at the restaurant called an ambulance to take me to St. Mary's hospital.

After many tests involving heart, lungs, brain and everything else they could think of, it was simply a matter of standing up too fast from a sitting position. During all of this the staff at the ER was unfailingly courteous and helpful, answering all my questions to my satisfaction.

The result was a complete physical for which I was long overdue! I am writing this as a thank you to the folks at St. Mary's on Schust Rd. and Towne Center road in Saginaw.

P.S. For an old foozle, it turns out that I am in pretty darn good shape!

I am going to take the chance of grossing y'all out but after I had a CT scan, an EKG, numerous blood tests and two X-rays, I asked the attending physician to check my ears..
when they irrigated my left ear they removed a plug of Cerumen, (earwax) 5/8 of an inch long and a 1/4 of an inch wide..the sheet they gave me after explained that one of the symptoms of the condition was DIZZYNESS..
I could be a monday morning quarterback, but the tests they ran pretty much convinced me that I will live forever 'cause I'm to damm mean to die...
Posted by D. on 2008-07-09:
Just don't post a picture of your earwax...thank you very much in advance.

I wanted to take it home and freeze it to show it off but Mrs. OF wouldn't let me! Darn!

The folks in the ER actually came in to to see it because it was some kind of record ...

When I was at my Parent's house today, I used some of their Hydrogen Peroxide and nothing happened...So, I checked the bottle and the expiration date was Septemeber 1997. LOL...no wonder nothing happened. I'm gonna have to go through their stuff and get rid of out dated things in their Med. Cabinet.

viva, since you have so many complaints about hospitals in Saginaw, maybe you should consider moving to Bay City? I've had a lot of experience with the Bay Medical Center there and they're top-notch.
Posted by D on 2009-08-25:
St Mary's and Covenant are both excellent medical facilities... it sounds like you prefer to beech and gripe in hopes of beating the bill or some such nonsense... JMHO

OF, I've found for relatively small cities, Saginaw and Bay City have very good medical facilities. And for extensive lab work, both Bad Axe and Harbor Beach seem to be excellent. I've never had personal interaction with these places, but I still have some sicko friends/relatives living in the area and I've been told the one in Harbor Beach has some of the same high-tech equipment as down here at Beaumont.

Nice review old_fart and yeah I'm glad everything is okay but heck you're some kind of genetic superman to have played with all them now illegal pesticides and still be healthy as horse. Rock on.

Stew, It's pretty hard to exterminate an old exterminator..
After 30 years of exposure, when bugs bite me, THEY die...
