Hotmail Complaint - Unhappy With Service

Review by mizdee on 2008-07-14
Resolution Update on 07/21/2008:
I was putting in front of my user name when I was suppose to put so now I can access both of my mailboxes. Didn't anyone know that I was suppose to do that? now I am happy with service.
TEXAS -- I just want to say that after three days of using Hotmail, it wouldn't let me back into my mailbox. It would say that the user name or pass word was wrong when I knew that it wasn't, and when I requested help from them they gave me a security question about a elephant which wasn't mine and it was very frustrating because I had given that address to my friends and had unread mail in it.

So after that I set up another mailbox and it did the same thing after two days. What is really going on.

hotmail is a free service, what did you expect? you get what you pay for.

I would recommend trying Google's Gmail out. It is free as well, but very reliable from my experience.

Mad, some of the best software out there is free and is equal to or beats the paid programs hands down. Gmail and Hotmail are both reliable and I would guess that this poster uses an extremely weak password that has been hacked by the resident clowns. The absolute worst email program you could use (security wise) is Microsofts Outlook Express, and it is not free.

Hotmail beats Yahoo! Yahoo is infested with Spam and they don't even try to fight it, nothing but form letter replies. Yahoo! Spam blocker does not work with Vista.

Yahoo cannot work with Vista because it would detect the entire program as spam! I use XP on a desktop and Vista on a laptop daily. Other than looking pretty, Vista would not be my first choice.
