American Express Informative - They Required Payment Within 2 Hours They Couldn't Send Me My Money In 19 Days. Still Waiting
EDGEWATER, NEW JERSEY -- On June 25th I received a phone call from my office when I was in vacation saying that American express called and told my employees that the balance that we owe to AMEX has to be paid within 2 hours otherwise they are going to send our case to collections. The amount that was owed was $2975.00. This is the name and the phone number of the person who called [snip] I had my employees use my American express online account and pay the $2975.00 and then they called AMEX agency and agency didn't accept the online payment. They required to charge the debit card. So we gave the debit card number so they charged it again. I wanted my employees to relax because the agency put a lot of pressure to them. They had the manager join the phone conversation and pressured my colleagues to get the money in 2 hours.
Then I tried to cancel my online payment using Americanexpress.com and wanted to send them an email but the email system didn't work. It still doesn't work. It says we are currently having technical difficulties. When I returned to US on July 27th I called the AMEX company to request for the money and I wanted them to wire transfer the money to my bank account. They took the routing number and the account number and told me every single day that the money is sent sent sent and today it is July 15th I still don't have the money. They can't tell me a tracking number so that I can track the money.
They can't give me a confirmation that it was sent. I called their customer service twice every single day. I am still waiting for the payment and my last choice is to contact BBB because this is not the right way to do business.
Thank you for your help
