STL, MISSOURI -- Whatever you do, do not go with Nationwide Home Warranty! I thought I was being cautious by doing the research and reviewing the company before I selected their policy. Turns out, all the research wouldn’t have prepared me for the TERRIBLE response time and TERRIBLE customer service. On my first claim, no one called me back on it (Mind you it’s a air conditioning claim and it’s summer in St. Louis HOTTT!!!!) not even the contractor nor Nationwide Home Warranty. When I finally spoke with the reps for Nationwide they said give it more time and call them back. I told them they should be administering and maintaining this claim because that’s what they’re paid to do and asked to speak to a supervisor. Ashley Porter claimed to be the New York supervisor but had never offered to follow-up with me on the claim in any way. Instead she suggested I call back to see what the status was later and it had already been 3 days. Any attempt to notify the company of the TERRIBLE customer service goes in vein.
The website doesn’t let you send a comment and the non-helpful reps just hold the phone or tell you you have to ask specific questions to find out where your claim is after you have already filed it days ago. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!
