Acer Laptop Computer Complaint - Defective Acer Laptop Computer
SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA -- I purchased a laptop 12/18/07. In the latter part of January or beginning of February 2008 the laptop ran hot and shut down. When it came back on the computer would not log on. It sat idle for 2 months and could not turn it on. I returned it for a refund explaining the above complaint and asked for a refund of money paid $782.00.
The Better Business Bureau and the Bederal Bov, Consumer Affairs was notified but the company refused to refund the money. Acer wants first $200.00 To repair. I refused to pay. Laptop yet under warranty. Now Acer wants $100.00 To repair this laptop. If I don't accept this offer the company plans are to return it in this condition, or they will dispose of the computer. Something must be done this is robbery for selling defective or refurbished equipment.
People listen don't buy Acer, product is no good and the co is a big lie. If we were a well name star this would not happen. This is a gift to my granddaughter. Stay away from Acer / don't buy from QVC.
