Sears Complaint - Disappointing Service
Resolution Update on 12/05/2009:
Sears Executive department called me and resolve the issue
SCHAUMBURG, ILLINOIS -- Dear Mr. Bruce Johnson July 17th 2008,
President and CEO
Sears Holdings Corporation
What kind of training Sears provides to their Sales team so they can lie up to extend which has no reality at all versus trading to their repair center and customer service where they always yelled and no respect for customer at all..
I have experience number of times when time comes to repair and honoring warranty their repair center treat customer with disrespect, service manager is not reachable and no voice mail allowed, when you called corporate they said they only file complaint and hand out another number for National Service Complaint, when you call National Service Complaint they said they do not handle repair center so here is another number when you call that number I was told they only handle service related to Home service.
I will share my experience anyway here and hope some one get back to me.
Journey started on June 30th 2008 when I called sears customer service to find out where I can drop my Dyson 17 Vacuum which in under warranty to repair, I was told to drop off at Sears Wood field mall. When I went to Sears Wood field I was told to go to Sears Schaumburg Repair center and told they are open until 9:00 PM. When I went to repair center I found out they are only open until 5:00 PM. Finally I dropped of Vacuums for repair on 07/08/2008 (find order under 847-923-1724) and I went back to pick on 07/15/2008. I requested employee (Brian and Alan) to test it and they refused as it was 20 minutes left for sore closing and they did not want to west their timer, since I requested over and over they did test and found out it was not working. So they told me they will send it back and wait for another 7 days. I asked them to leave a message or send an e-mail to store manager to expedite the process they said they do not have e-mail nor they will call him (Chris) as well they told me even if they write a note their manager is so busy so never read any notes. I called Chris on 708-216-3024 number of time no response so far. Finally I called Sears corporate to file complaint and I did not hear any thing different than repair center told me.
Every department you called at sears they bounce me back to different one.
Dyson Vacuum still have 4.5 years warranty left and I do not want to go through this pain so I rather return it back to sears and buy from some other place.
I don’t know what is happening to the company I shopped at for years, but it is not as good as before.
