Yours Truly Restaurant Informative - Tips - Restaurant

Review by mrputz on 2008-07-21
Don't fill out the required field for a tip on the first sales slip, because the staff member does not get the whole amount. Yours Truly charges the customer 3% for the use of a credit card.

Leave the gratuity blank, and give your server the tip in CASH.

What restaurant does that or are you trying to say all restaurants do that? I waited tables and never had that problem.

Well I rarely carry cash so how about instead of my usual 20% tip on the credit slip I leave a 20.618556701% in order to compensate for the 3% stolen by the MAN. That should make everybody happy.

I believe "Yours Truly" is the name of the restaurant...

Hi, I read your comment and I believe you mean that the restaurant charges the servers the 3% not the customer. I just finished reading about this in our local paper yesterday.
