T-Mobile Complaint - We've Had A Year Of Hell With T-mobile
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA -- Our family is counting down the days until our contract expires with T-Mobile. We have had problems from day one. Looking back, I should have known we were in for trouble.
When our contract expired with our old company, I decided to shop around for a 'better deal'. I simply called the 800 number for T-Mobile to ask some questions, and decided to sign up after being informed that we could "try them free for 30 days." This was lie #1 by their sales person. Lie #2 was the type phone we were being sent. I did call when we received different phone, and was told the ones promised us were now out of stock and wouldn't be in for several weeks. Therefore, we simply settled for what we had in hand. That was another mistake. One of our phones didn't work right, and after many times of trying to reprogram it over the phone with a rep, it still doesn't work. After about 4 months of problems, the company finally decided they would replace the phone because it was under warranty .... whoops!! Sometime in that four month period the phone developed a crack in the outside screen that voided the warranty (we have yet to figure out why the outside screen started leaking, and now does not work). Anyway, the phone that was bad from day one (and isn't even the phone we were promised) is still with us. We have had several months of overage frees because of this phone! It will not receive calls correctly, so we cannot hear people on the other end; but yet it will not disconnect the call when we try to hang up.
This is all just the top of the mountain of complaints we have with T-Mobile. I have tried and tried to talk with someone who can help me, only to be transferred to yet another person who makes me repeat everything ... and then doesn't help.
For your own sanity... stay away from T-Mobile!! No amount of "savings" is worth what they might put you through!
