Delta Airlines Complaint - Flight Service - Overall Experience
MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA -- Just arrived from the worst experience ever on Delta. On the first flight, the plane could not take off due to a defective part discovered at takeoff...the plane had been there all night and no one had bothered to check until all passengers were loaded. Rerouted after an initial 2 hr delay. Final destination scheduled to land at 10:50 am, finally arrived around 5 pm. Then the luggage was lost and not found for 24 hours. Lost baggage information outsourced to India so you cannot speak to anyone who can help. Return trip; although the plane landed from previous trip with a piece of rubber insulation missing, it was not discovered until all passengers were loaded and we all at the gate for 45 minutes until it could be cleared by which time the weather had moved in and we sat for 4 hours on the tarmac without any information or concern or apologies by Delta. Plane ran out of water for the bathroom and no offer for drinking water or anything else unless you specifically cornered the attendant. The scheduled 1 hr 40 minute flight turned into a 7 hour sweat ordeal. Connecting flight had been delayed due to no pilot, but had given away my seat that had been purchased and assigned since May 22. Gate attendant was very rude and uncooperative saying he had to attend to customers... I was and emphasize was a customer.
No offer of assistance or apology was made. Will never fly Delta again and urge all others not to. Delta is unconcerned with customer service. At this level, bankruptcy should follow soon.
