Suncoast Energys Complaint - Gas Price Gouging - Gas Price
Complaint
ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- I too would like to complain about the price of gas at the Sunoco gas station at 5928 butler natl, Orlando, FL. Like the other reviewers, I stopped at this gas station to fill up my rental car before returning it. The price of gas at this station on July 9, 2008 was $5.499 Per gallon, while other stations in Orlando were at about $4.00 Per gallon. Because this station did not have the price posted on it's sign, I did not know how expensive it was until I started to fill up.
I filed a complaint with the Florida department of consumer services. They have forwarded my complaint to "DOACS - division of standards" if everyone files a complaint with them, maybe the Florida government with do something. Here is the government agency that handles these kind of complaints: DOACS-division of standards, 3125 Conner Blvd. C17, Tallahassee, FL 32399-6576.

I thought it was a Federal Law that fuel prices had to be posted at the street. I'm going to check into that. With all these different zoning ordinances in cities these days who the heck knows. Snakes always find ways to get around things.
