Papa John's Pizza Complaint - Really Bad Food Delivery
EDGEWOOD, MARYLAND -- Copy of email sent to Papa John's complaint department:
We placed an order online at 7:05pm on 07/29/2008. Email said that the order would take 38-48min.
Called the store at 8:10pm. Phone rang 16 times. The CSR stated that they were "like, really behind" and "your order's done, just waiting on the driver to get back".
Called the store at 8:45pm. Phone rang 12 times. CSR said "Hold. I'll check your order". Was on hold for 3 minutes 42 seconds before getting hung up on.
Called the store at 8:49pm to cancel the order. Phone rang 34 times. Was still ringing when the driver finally showed up.
Order was right. Food was cold. Gave us a free 2 liter of Sprite (which we don't drink).
Papa John's has GOT to do better than this. If the store is running late, the customer NEEDS to know this. The store MUST answer the phone in under 10 rings. The store can NOT put customers on hold and ignore them.
