Delta Airlines Complaint - Delta Flight 5487 - JFK to CMH July 28th
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- So I use frequent flier miles to get a flight between Columbus, OH and Hartford, CT. Granted, you get what you pay for. . .flight to CT was operated by partner Continental and was flawless with a 40 min lay over in Newark, NJ. The Flight back was terrible! 4 hour layover in JFK ariport, international terminal(!)
The flight boarded on time, right at 4.40pm. We wait. . . and wait. Explanation is "completing paperwork"
More wait. This time "There is not an agent available to load the luggage onto the plane"
More wait. Luggage is loaded. Door is shut. "From the flight deck, we're completing some paperwork and waiting to be pushed back from the gate".
More wait. Door opens. "From the flight deck, while we're waiting, we're going to give a ride to four Delta crew members, they'll be here momentarily. We shouldn't lose our place in line"
More wait. 45 mins. No crew members. "From the flight deck, we can't seem to find the crew members who needed the ride. We'll give them a few more minutes"
More wait. 30 mins. Crew member hands out water and crackers, says she thinks the crew members are eating dinner before boarding!!
Wait. Wait. FINALLY... two pilots, crew members, whatever enter the plane (can you imaging the glares these people got from the 120 paying passengers they held up?
So we arrive in Columbus 75 minutes late. The response from the flight attendant is "If you have a complaint, complain to Delta"
So.... Delta... ugh. Never again.
