Remington Compliment - Great Product - Wet 2 Straight Hair Straightening Iron

Review by 70687 on 2008-08-01
I bought a new hair straightening iron from Walmart with some extra birthday money I had gotten because my old one kept pulling my hair out since the straightening plates were not "floating." I decided to buy the Remington Wet2Straight iron for $22.45. It was the 1 inch hair tool. The first time I tried it, my hair was just a little damp, and it dried the wet hair without pulling on it or burning it to a crisp. I felt like the steam that is made really helped condition my hair and it felt so soft afterwards. I just tried it again today with pretty wet hair, and it worked beautifully. It didn't pull on my hair this time either. The nice thing about the iron is that it cuts out the blow dryer. I never liked using that anyway since I have naturally curly hair and when I blow dry it, it frizzes and becomes like straw. So needless to say, I'm very happy with this product.

HappyGoLucky, thanks for the positive review. We don't get that many around here so when we do it's nice.

I doubt I would be a customer though as I buzz my head every few days, LOL.

Good review. I echo superbowl's comments. Well--almost all of them. :)

It's always hard to find just the right product when it comes to blow dryers, curling irons and the flat plate straightening irons. I rarely use these types of products because I like to do my hair naturally...but I do use them now and then. Remington seems to be one of the better products...thanks for the info!
