Dell Computer Corporation Complaint - Terrible customer service regarding returns
ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- I ordered two Dell lap tops for my teenage kids that where shipped in bits and pieces. The information on the Dell website regarding my order was incorrect but I was assured several times when I called that the orders were correct and would be shipped soon. One lap top arrived quickly but the second lap top, the the mice and cases did not. We had to leave the location of the shipping address on vacation so my mother accepted the boxes when they arrived after our departure without opening them. When we returned from our vacation I saw that although the packing list was correct (2 optical mice and 2 Delvin carrying cases) the box actually contained 4 pink mice (not cool for my 15 year son). When I called about the incorrect shipment I was told by Dell customer service that it was past 21 days so Dell would not do anything about it. Period. The supervisor (who spoke English only slightly better than the employee) told me the same. This is so frustrating since it is their error for shipping the items late and for shipping the wrong items. I still think that Dell has the best computers, but I won't order direct from Dell on line again. I want to see what I'm getting before hand. Dell needs to move it's customer service base back to the US.
