Ticket Solutions Complaint - Warning - Do Not Buy Tickets From Ticket Solutions, com Overland Park, KS

OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS -- I bought 2 tickets for the August 2, 2008 Yankees Old Timer's Day/Yankees Angels baseball game on February 29, 2008, from Ticket Solutions.com. They give a 200% guarantee that they will deliver the tickets with FEDEX delivery, shipping address being my home. In May/June, I emailed customer service a number of times to find out when I would receive these tickets and I got replies saying I would get them on time, the order had been placed. I started calling in July, this time I told I would be receiving them by 7/25/08. When I did not get them, I called many times this past week, they said "we will take care of you." On 8/1 I was told to go to NYC restaurant or bowling alley to get and I said the agreement was to send to my home. FEDEX picked up the package after 7 PM Friday night -went to NJ-I was supposed to get them before noon 8/2/08. The package instead went to Philadelphia. I missed the game and Ticket Solutions refused to honor the 200% guarantee saying they would issue a credit only of the price I paid. I will issue complaints to the BBB, the trade association and file a claim for the additional money. DO NOT order from them - they had 5 months to deliver and did not. Buy from STUB HUB, save yourself from the trauma I went through.

Stub Hub isn't any better. Basically they are just brokers. Notice how they wanted you to pick up the tickets in either a restaurant or a bowling alley. That means they really never had possession of tickets. You ought to do a charge back because Ticket Solutions failed to provide what you paid for.

The 200% guarantee is a joke. According to their Terms of Service they will only provide a refund of the ticket price less shipping & handling.

If the tickets were charged back in Feb. the 60 day dispute window has expired. You are probably SOL. But, I would try anyway.
