Cellular-Blowout Complaint - False Claims And Advertising

Review by M1M1 on 2008-08-04
AGOURA HILLS, CALIFORNIA -- I ordered an unlocked LGSHINE phone and requested overnight shipping ($40.00) on 7/11/08 late that evening. My banking account was charged immediately. Then I received an email that my order would ship in 12 to 72 hours. ELEVEN days later I received another email that my order was backordered and I could call them if I have any more questions - no one would answer and they said they couldn't take messages over the phone! I sent NUMEROUS e-mails with no response.

On 7/29 that have the nerve to send me and advertisement email that shows MY phone in Stock - it isn't! Now I get no response from any of my emails. CELLULAR BLOWOUT IS A SCAM!

Your biggest mistake here was giving the direct access to your bank account. At this point you need to work with your bank and attempt to get this transaction reversed. Do it now before any more time passes.

I was so embarrassed to contact my bank, but they were so understanding. Said these things happen all the time. THEY refunded my account and are going after Cellular Blowout for me!
