Whitehall Address Plaques Complaint - Whitehall Address Plaques Poor Quality & Customer Service

Review by Disappointed5507 on 2008-08-04
DALLAS, TEXAS -- I received a brand new Whitehall address plaque and installed into a place on the front of my new house. While painting around it, I masked the plaque with blue painter's tape. The tape was only on for 15 minutes and when I pulled it off, some of the address plaque paint came off. Whitehall customer service said tough bananas. They said their warranty does not cover this because I put the tape on. These plaques are supposed to survive the elements. I would recommend using another plaque company, locally, or making one yourself.

I think you have a good point here. How will this plaque handle a few years of rough winter weather if simple tape messes it up?

I'm surprised it didn't burn off. Aren't they averaging about 107 degrees daily in Dallas lately?
