T-Mobile Complaint - Charged $200 Cancellation Fee
FLORIDA -- The last time I needed a phone I went to a T-Mobile store and was told I was not eligible for an upgrade. I had to buy the phone for full price. I did not agree to an upgrade or new contract. Later when I went to cancel the number I found the store had put me in for an upgrade (so they get the credit) and I was now under contract for an additional 2 years. Calling T-Mobile I find they do not keep record of the contract but only take the stores word for the new contract. In addition the store only keeps record for 90 days. Isn't that convenient...Do not trust the phone stores to do as you request.
I am now out $200 even though neither T-Mobile or the store can prove I agreed to another contact..... Forget T-Mobile.....
Anything for a buck..... What a SCAM !
