direcway internet provider Complaint - lost connections/unable to connect
INDIANA -- I am filing this complaint from my home this evening because I am unable to get a connection from my business thru DIRECWAY.COM. THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING PROBLEM SINCE MAY OF 2003. On the times I have attempted to call direcway to complain or resolve the problem I have been unable to remain on hold over 40 min. The one time I was able to reach an individual I was told to shut down all programs and reboot the system and then try again . As I was shutting downn and rebooting I was disconnected from the "help" line and unable to reconnect.
I must say the local installer has tried on many occasions to rectify the problem via realigning the satelite reciever and checking out my computer . These items checked out O.K.
I chose DIRECWAY because no high speed service
is available in my area .I might add that others in my area recieve good service. This indicates
that either direcway has faulty equipment or that I have enviromental conditions that made this type of communications not applicable.
(There are a number of transformers in close proxminity to my location)
