AutoPartsGiant Complaint - Unresponsive, Unreliable Stay Away!
OTTAWA LAKE -- In May of 2008 our company ordered a hard to find a/c condenser that AutoPartsGiant claimed to have in stock. I made the purchase online, and it said the item would ship in 3-5 days. And I would receive a tracking number for UPS when it did ship. They charged my credit card immediately. I check the online my account for AutoPartsGiant every couple of days looking for an update. Ten days in it still showed being processed, I tried calling multiple times only to be left on hold for 20-30 minutes each time and then hung up on without ever speaking to anyone. I sent an e mail asking if there was any problems, and received no reply. Two weeks later I received a 1 line email saying the item had been shipped, but no tracking number was supplied. I made a call again, only to be hung up on once more after nearly a 30 minute wait. I sent an e mail requesting the tracking number, and received no reply.
In the meantime we had to find another supplier to get the a/c condenser & apologize to our customer for the unreasonable delay. Several more unanswered e mails and and unanswered phone calls later and 6 weeks in I turned them and all my documentation over to my credit card company. We never did receive the part, or any correspondence from them.
It took another month be we finally got our money back through the credit card company.
