Holiday Inn Complaint - Horrible Service At The South Haven MI Holiday Inn & Suites
SOUTH HAVEN, MICHIGAN -- The service in this hotel is one of the worse I have ever experienced. It seemed the hotel was run by a group of teenage girls with no manager to be found. One example; one of the amenities of this hotel was supposed to be a hot breakfast bar. Every time I attempted to get food, something was always missing. When we tried to inquire as to what the problem was, the buck was passed to someone else - NEVER THE MANAGEMENT. Several patrons were as upset as I was. Another example; in the 5 days that we were there I only once saw towels available in the pool area. We were always told that they were in the dryer - the pool was not that busy - THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD TOWELS AVAILABLE IN ADVANCE, ETC. Another example; we needed more blankets - instead of them sending someone up to our room with them we were told to come down to the front desk to pick them up. Another; the elevator did not run correctly most of the week - they should have called a repairman to fix it during the night - it was not done - WE HAD TO LUG ALL OF OUR LUGGAGE DOWN 3 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CALL AN ELEVATOR REPAIRMAN IN TIME.
NEED I GO ON - IT WILL BE A LONG TIME BEFORE WE STAY IN ANY HOLIDAY INN AGAIN!
