Hertz Complaint - Hertz Rental Car
MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA -- We were completely dissatisfied with our recent experience with Hertz Rental Car Agency. We flew into Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - this was our first time traveling with our very young daughter so we made online reservations for a full size car before our trip. When we landed in Myrtle Beach - we were told, rudely, that there was no car for us. Despite our online reservation - they offered us a small car, when we pointed out that a small car would not fit our family, we were told by the agent, Chuck, that there was nothing he could do. We were so upset! Here we are...on vacation with the entire family, including an infant...and we had no car, no infant seat, and the Hertz agent was offering us no help! What made matters worse - was when my mother walked down to a different car-rental company to try to find a car for our family - the agent, Chuck, started verbally mocking her to his associates. Bragging about how he blew her off and talking boldly about how "she could take her reservation paper and..." - classy.
We will NEVER use Hertz Rental again. What was even more appalling - was that NONE of his associates were phased by his rude, mocking manner - as if this was how there agency normally conducted business. Disgusting!
