Burger King Complaint - Cle Elum Drive Thru - Long Wait & Poor Customer Service
CLE ELUM, WASHINGTON -- This review is for Burger King store #12731. We were on our way to a wedding, and decided to stop for a quick bite to eat. We didn't have much time, so decided on Burger King and went through the drive thru.
With only 3 cars in front of us, you would think we would be through fairly quickly. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We were stuck in the drive thru - it took them 25 minutes for us to get our food.
I could see the car in front of us pay, but still had to wait an extremely long time for their food. Being pressed for time, before we paid, I asked the girl at the window how much longer it was going to be. I wanted the chance to decide if I wanted to continue to wait or leave.
I was told "we are moving as fast as we can" - I explained we had been waiting for a long time and had a wedding to get to. I was told "I have your food right her, just give me the money". We were handed our food, and the window was slammed shut.
So, not only did we have to wait 25 minutes for food that is called "fast food", on top of it, we received poor customer service. No explanation of what happened, and no apology for the long wait. Just a window slammed at us.
To add insult to injury, the food was so poorly made, my husband and I both ended up with dropped food on our clothes (had to show up at the wedding wearing our lunch!).
It's probably the worst experience I've had at a fast food place, and the worst customer service.
A message to Burger King - I will not be going back to your restaurant. In addition, they always say if someone receives poor customer service, this is passed along to at least 23 people. So far, I have told 7 others my experience, and will continue to share it with others.
