Universal Nissan Orlando Compliment - Service Department - Auto Service Department

ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- I have been a customer, not only bought 4 Nissan vehicles in my life, but always doing dealership maint. on my cars..for 10 yrs! I moved to FL and found Univ. Orlando. After reading the multiple slams from previous customers, I decided not to try them. Went to another Nissan Dealer and was treated poorly so decided Universal couldn't be any worse and they were closer.

To my surprise, after dealing with the Service Manager-his name is Glen-my concerns were met. I've been back to do my major services and all my oil changes. I do have to say though, it has become very uncomfortable there. Some of the other customers there have little to no class. Yelling and complaining loudly. I've even heard people asking for free things. Wow, I want free stuff too, but would never think of demanding it!! There is one other person I have delt with there. Although he seems to be quite young, for a General Manager-Scott,he doesn't seem to know how to deal with customers effectively.

When I asked who he was to one of the sales people, they laughed and said that "nobody likes him, not even the employees and I shouldn't take it personally". I'm not sure if it's just me, but that should never be said! Overall, this dealership has honest workers. Didn't try to oversell me on my repairs and called me when they were suppose to. I don't get the same service advisor, but never really had a preference anyway. The manager seems to make sure everything's running right and that's fine with me.
