Kmart-Sears Complaint - General Attitude Of Employees

Review by rockybooyx2 on 2008-08-18
TRUSSVILLE, ALABAMA -- I witnessed a customer trying to return an item or exchange for an item she had in her handicap cart, when the employee at the service desk so so sharp, loud and hateful to her. I know that there has to be guidelines but since the Kmart in our area needs all the business it can get, pr would be a major step in the right direction. Not an employee smiles, never greets you, and certainly will not be found to help you. Meeter greeter must be a dirty word there. Nasty lady, rude and crude. She should have been shown the door and pick up your check later.

Like everything else, it depends on the K-Mart. The ones around here are small and everyone is nice. Some of those ladies have been working there for years.

How was the employee hateful?

You don't know what the customer in the handicap cart was doing for sure now do you? You witnessed part of a situation and drew your own conclusions. Maybe the handicap cart person was a thief and trying to return stolen merch and the clerk told them no...see I can draw my own conclusions also.

Kmart employees suck because they get paid minimum wage.

Minimum wage isn't the reason an employee sucks. Many people work for minimum wage and work harder, and with a better attitude, then a lot of people who make 4-5x as much. The way an employer treats its employees and the employee's work ethic are typically what determine whether or not they suck.
