Red Lobster Complaint - A Total Disaster - Product/Service
MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE -- We arrived at the store at 6:30pm We were told that it would be app. a 20 minute wait, 20 minutes turned into over an hour. We were seated at 7:40pm. We ordered our food about 8:05pm. The salads came at 8:30pm. They had more salad dressing than lettuce. I ordered a glass of red merlot. The glass of wine had something floating in the top of the glass. I told my waiter he said he would bring me another glass of wine. I watched my waiter while approaching him sticking a spoon in my glass to remove the particles.
I questioned his intentions to be told he was pointing at the particles with the spoon to show the bartender. I declined the glass of wine explaining my issues of trust. I was with a party of 13, 6 adults and 7 children. We decided to stay because of the time factor and considering we had 6 hungry children and 5 hungry adults. The food we ordered was not appetizing. The dishes did not have enough sauce.
We requested additional sauce twice, finally the waitress remembered our request. We finally asked for carry out containers. we eventually left about 10:15pm. The general manager came over and apologized and left. we requested to see him before we left, he was gone for the evening.
I called the store the next business day and spoke with the manager. He promised he would give the message to the general manager. It is 5 days later and I haven't heard from him.
