Airport Marina Honda Complaint - Ripoff - Dealer Markup

Dealer Markup - Complaint
Review by marcus939 on 2008-08-19
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- Airport Marina Honda has a sticker next to invoice that says $5000 dealer markup.

They tell you Hondas are in such demand they can sell it for this price. Beware. This is not true.

For example Santa Monica Honda has no dealer markup at this time. They are crooks and for what it is worth called Honda corp. And they took my complaint. If they get too many complaints in a quarter it will affect how many Hondas they can purchase the following month.

any car dealership can markup the price to what ever they want. does not mean they will sell it. this is why it is important to shop around.

So what if the Airport Marina dealership marks up their prices - - you found that Santa Monica Honda does not so why not buy a car from them? Marking up the price of a car is not a rip off - - its just the way it is in the auto world.
