Bad Business Practices! Bad Customer Service - Complaint
Well... I didn't have a HORRIBLE experience with ikitchen.com just not a good one.
I finally had decided to get myself a Cusinart Pure Indulgence ice-cream machine and ikitchen had a refurbished one for 50.00 that is at least a 30.00 savings. Having purchased refurbished kitchen appliances and never having had any "issues" with them I placed my order with ikitchen.
6 days later they were still showing the item available on their website yet no package had arrived. I just had a "feeling".
I should have KNOWN to check here first but didn't....lesson learned.
Deciding not to wait I went to Macy's and "bit the bullet" and purchased a new machine and came home with it. I called iKitchen the next day and the item was BACK ORDERED. I asked the customer service rep. on the phone WHY I had not been notified this was backorder??....after all it CLEARLY states on THEIR website that IF an item is back ordered you WILL be notified within 2-3 business days. I was not.
Long story short...I got my Paypal account refunded and cancelled the order.
I would NEVER/EVER buy anything from this online retailer...EVER. They really, really need to get their "doo-doo" together and do a MUCH better job.

Hardly so terrible an experience to write them off forever.
They made a goof and you got your money back.
Every company has a bad moment now and again. Then again, you've probably never made a mistake in your life, right?
