T-Mobile Complaint - T-Mobile-Cell Phone Termination-Poor Customer Service
GEORGIA -- I've been a customer with T-Mobile since 2003 and was on their month-to-month plan. When I moved, I could not get service in my home and had not land line.
When I switched my service provider, they charged me a $200 termination fee because 7 months earlier (Jan 08) I had added minutes to my plan using their online program. When I called customer service, they said adding those minutes signed me in to another contract. I can't remember reading this, it was probably fine print.
Anyways I also was charged a full month's charge plus 15 extra for my last month-straight to my credit card, but never received my paperless bill or even a paper one. I've called customer service twice asking for a copy of this bill since I would like to know how I racked up double my usual minutes in half a month. However, they tell me since I've cancelled I can not longer receive old bills via email or snail mail. Funny since I just received a bill for the termination fee plus recurring charges??!!
They can charge me $200 to terminate, but can send me a free e-bill copy!! Uncalled for!!
Long story short. I received poor signal from T-Mobile, signed up to purchase more minutes giving them more money, and was charged an excess termination fee plus added charges on my bill customer service will not help me to figure out.
I will never do business with this company again. I feel I have been ripped off of my hard earned money for T-Mobile providing absolutely nothing in return. I don't understand how this is legal and how they are still in business. It's very disheartening.
