Post Tribune Informative - Paper Delivered At End Of Drive Way
GARY, INDIANA -- I started taking the Post Tribune on August 4, 2008. I cancelled delivery of the newspaper August 15, 2008. I called every day to tell them I had not received my paper. About 4 day into the subscription my son brings me 4 newspaper he found lying at the end of my driveway.
I called again explaining I am disabled and I needed the paper left on my porch outside the door. They assured me it would be there...to no avail..I also asked to speak to a supervisor and was told one would call me back within 24 to 48 hours to fix this problem.
I called everyday to complain that the paper had not been delivered and that I was not always able to walk to the end of the drive way due to sever arthritis of the spine and shoulders, a knee replacement and I have seizures and mental problems and do not leave my home unattended.
I never received a call back from anyone and the day after I cancelled the subscription, the paper was on the porch. I enjoy reading the local paper because I can't get out much and like to keep abreast of the news.
I was at a loss as to who to call to get this straightened out after calling everyday to complain.
